I hope your Wednesday is going swimmingly! We’ve been moving right along at the Humane Society, and the telephones have been ringing nonstop – which is a good thing these days since we have an abundance of kitties and doggies. I will keep this edition of Waylon Wednesday’s short and sweet, but we wanted to give our readers a quick update of the happenings around here:
So, I’m quite thrilled to announce that our momma and dadda siamese cats took off this afternoon into foster. It was tough to see them go, but we know that the dynamic duo will thrive in their new home! As for our plethora kittens, they are slowly growing up and becoming more and more playful everyday. They are quite the talkers and will let the staff and volunteers know if they need anything.
In other news, the facility also had great day last Thursday! We had the Fulton Learning Center stop by for a visit and see all the wonderful animals. The day was filled with puppy kisses, kitten purrs and tortoise petting. It was a great opportunity for the kids to see what we at HSAC are all about. A fantastic time was had by all, and luckily we have some awesomely painted rocks to remember them until their next visit.
Until next Wednesday,
