It’s another weekly edition of Waylon Wednesdays everyone! Here’s a quick update on this past weekend’s events. We had our spring fashion gala at the Country Club, and it was a huge success. Everyone who attended was dressed to the nines in the fittingly themed “Lunch in New York”. Unfortunately, your humble reporter was not able to attend since I couldn’t find an outfit to wear, but I heard through the grapevine that it was a fun time. In other news, at the shelter, we had three puppies that found their forever home, and we couldn’t be happier! We are slightly sad to see them leave, but everyone at the facility knows that it is for the best.
And, speaking of puppies… I mentioned in a previous edition that the humane society took in a momma dog and her litter of eight pups. Well, they’ve finally opened their eyes and started stumbling around. It is quite a sight to see – so to speak. However, with all their wondering around, they have been getting into all sorts of things and making it a fun-filled time for the volunteers and staff to keep up with. Everyone at the facility is excited to see these rascally puppies grow up within our walls. We have slowly weaned them off their momma and switched them over to our special blend of puppy yum-yums. Yet, with as much growing they have done within the last week or so, they still have some time with us at HSAC. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t come down and say hi and give them a couple of smooches!
Until next time,
