Howdy partners!
I hope everyone’s October has been extra spooky so far! I know mine has. So, as always, we’ve been busy bees over at the House of Hope. We have been nonstop taking care of all our of the critters. And speaking of critters, just yesterday, we got a new litter of six sweet kittens. They’re adjusting nicely and really enjoy our 5-star meals. We are excited to see how they will go within our shelter.
Also, last week, we pulled nine animals from our local Animal Control. So far they’ve had a blast staying with us. And, I would like to take the time to highlight one of our newest friends, Clyde. Although, Clyde and I don’t get along every time, I still think that he is full of love. Clyde is very eager to please and loves to play ball. He is by no means a lap-sized dog, but he will try if given the chance. He would definitely love to spend this fall season by your side!
Halloween is in the air, and we have three events going on this week! So, if you or some one you know gets a wild hair and are looking for something fun to do, stop by “Yappy Hour” from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the Fulton Irish Pub! So, come out and enjoy appetizers, treats, and a doggy costume contest!
Additionally, HSAC will be at Camp Aranzazu for their “Aranza-BOO” event from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. Come say hi to our lovely Tortoise, Walnut . There will be a trick or treat loop and other fun actives for everyone!
Lastly, the House of Hope will host a movie night in the yard at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. We will be showing the classic film, “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. There will be plenty of food, so bring an appetite, costume contest, games, and lots of other sorts of fun! Stop by and watch the movie with us while supporting the Humane Society!
I hope that I see some of you fun fellows at our upcoming events!
